Greiner Packaging is a leading European manufacturer of plastic packaging in the food and nonfood sector. For more than 60 years, the company has enjoyed a reputation for its great expertise in providing solutions in the fields of development, design, production, and decoration. Greiner Packaging addresses the challenges of the market with two business units: Packaging and Assistec. Whereas the former stands for innovative packaging solutions, the second one focuses on the production of customized technical parts. The Greiner Assistec business unit was established in 2006. It originates from the “technical components” production area, which has been part of the company for many years. Greiner Packaging employs a workforce of around 5,000 at more than 30 locations in 19 countries worldwide. 7 of these locations are assigned to Greiner Assistec, including the one in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2022, the company achieved annual sales revenues of EUR 909 million (business unit Packaging and Assistec, including joint ventures). This represents more than 40 % of Greiner’s total revenue.
